અનેક વન્યજીવ લુપ્તના આરે છે જો આવુજ ચાલતું રહિયુંતો આવનારી પેઢીઓ વન્યપ્રાણીઓને જોઈ નહીં શકે. IUCN દર ત્રણ વર્ષે એક Reddata લિસ્ટ પ્રકાશિત કરે છે જે અંતર્ગત ગુજરાત માં અનેક પ્રજાતિઓ લૂપ્ત ના અરે છે આવામાં તેમનો રક્ષણ કરવો આપની ફરજ છે ભારત ના બંધારણ માં અનુછેદ 48 (ક) માં ઉલ્લેખ કરવામાં આવ્યું છે સાથે આપણી મૂળભૂત ફરજો માં તેમણે ઉમેરવામાં આવ્યુછે.
ગુજરાતમાં વાઘ અને ચિત્તા જેવા વન્ય પ્રાણીઓ લુપ્ત થયા છે જયારે આપના ગુજરાતનાં ગૌરવ એવા એશિયામાં માત્ર ગુજરાતમાં જ જોવા મળતા આજે પણ સુરક્ષિત છે
