દક્ષિણ ગુજરાતના આદિવાસી નૃત્યો
દક્ષિણ ગુજરાતના આદિવાસી નૃત્યો આજે પણ તે સમયના લોક નૃત્યો રમાય છે જે લોકો આજે પણ તે પંથકમાં લોક નૃત્યો જાણીતા છે. કમ નસીબે આ લોક નૃત્યોની જાણ અને માહિતી સાપડી લેતા ઓછા સાહિત્યો જોવા મળે છે.પણ ભારત સરકારના અનુસૂચિત જનજાતિના કલ્યાણ તથા ઉત્થાન માટે અનેક પગલાં લેવા આવી રહ્યા છે. જે અંતર્ગત ભાષા સંશોધન કેન્દ્ર વડોદરાને આર્થિક સહાય આપીને ગુજરાતમાં વસતાં આદિવાસીની રહેણીકરણી અને આચાર ખાનપાન વગેરેનો અભ્યાસ કરીને તેની વિશેષતાઓ લોકો સમક્ષ લાવવાની છે.
આ જ સહાયતા હેઠળ ભાષા સંશોધન કેન્દ્ર વડોદરા દ્વારા પ્રકાશિત પુસ્તક દક્ષિણ ગુજરાતના આદિવાસી નૃત્યો, જે દક્ષિણ પંથકમાં વસતા આદિવાસીઓના નૃત્યો જેવા કેડો વણા નૃત્ય, માદળ નૃત્ય, તારપા નૃત્ય, પાવરી નૃત્ય, ડુંગર દેવ નૃત્ય, ઠાકર્યા નૃત્ય, તૂર નૃત્ય, હરખી દેવ નૃત્ય. વગેરે જેવા આદિવાસી નૃત્યો વિશે પ્રકાશિત સાહિત્ય ઘણા ઓછાં મળે છે. ભાષા સંશોધન કેન્દ્ર વડોદરા દ્વારા પ્રકાશિત કરેલ પુસ્તક દક્ષિણ ગુજરાત આદિવાસી નૃત્યો પ્રકાશિત કરેલ છે. જેનો મુખ્ય ઉદ્દેશ લોકોને આ પંથકમાં વસતા આદિવાસીઓના નૃત્યો નો લોકોમા જાગૃતિ ફેલાવવાની છે. આ પુસ્તકમા પ્રકાશિત કરેલ સાહિત્ય માં ઘણા ઓછાં સાહિત્ય જોવા મળે છે. ગુજરાતના દક્ષિણ ભાગમાં આવેલા અનેક આદિવાસીઓ વિશે છે. આથી કરી તેની આગવી વિશેષતા
South Gujarat is home to several indigenous tribal communities known as Adivasis. These communities have a rich cultural heritage and history that dates back centuries. The Adivasis of South Gujarat primarily reside in the hilly regions of the Dangs Navsari and Valsad districts.
The Adivasi communities in this region include Bhil Kunbi Warli Dhodia Gamit and other tribes. Each community has its unique language customs traditions and beliefs which contribute to the cultural diversity of the region.
The Adivasis of South Gujarat traditionally relied on agriculture hunting and gathering for their livelihoods. They have a deep connection to the land and have developed sustainable agricultural practices that are environmentally friendly. The tribes also possess rich indigenous knowledge about medicinal plants which they have used for generations to treat various illnesses and ailments.
The Adivasi communities of South Gujarat have a distinct artistic tradition with their vibrant art forms reflecting their cultural identity. They are skilled in creating colorful paintings intricate embroidery and unique handicrafts which depict their mythology daily life and natural surroundings.
Despite their rich cultural heritage the Adivasis of South Gujarat have faced various challenges over the years. They have struggled with land rights access to education healthcare and the preservation of their traditional way of life. However in recent years there have been efforts to empower and uplift these communities by promoting their culture providing education and healthcare facilities and supporting their economic development.
The Adivasis of South Gujarat continue to preserve their traditions and cultural practices passing them down from one generation to the next. Through their resilience and determination they have managed to retain their unique identity and contribute to the diverse cultural fabric of Gujarat.
